Has Impinj’s Time To Shine Come?

When Impinj on Monday rolled out two new RFID chips—the Monza/ID chips with factory-programmed product identification numbers and Monaco/64, the first in a line of chips with user-programmable memory—the industry took notice.
The Seattle Times talked about how long Impinj has been sitting on top of the supply-chain RFID world and RFIDUpdate puts Impinj near the top of a list of likely RFID pureplay IPOs, now that Alien Technology has given up its IPO efforts. Inpinj has one thing going for it: it’s already reported a profitable quarter. For an RFID firm these days, that’s nothing to sneeze in your spreadsheet about.
Cards issued by European banks when used online cross border don't usually support AVS checks. So, when a European card is used with a billing address that's in the US, an ecom merchant wouldn't necessarily know that the shipping zip code doesn't match the billing code.
