An RFID Meow Nix?

The field of RFID blocking devices is growing almost as rapidly as RFID deployments. A far cry from the homemade crudely-designed aluminum-foiled-lined wallets that were cropping up just nine months ago, companies now want to block unwanted radio frequencies with some style. In Japan, an outfit is selling RFID-blockers adorned with Hello Kitty designs. This would never work in the U.S., as our cats are more independent (read anti-human). “Why should I block this signal? It’s not my credit card. What’s in it for me?”
