Amazon Tops Customer Service List
November 2nd, 2006Consumers are now saying they insist on customer service above all else. That, coupled with a growing lack of perceived online/offline distinction, is behind a National Retail Federation survey result released this morning showing Amazon.com as number one.
Compared with earlier surveys, the NRF stats showed consumers placing their customer service demands much higher. After Amazon, the other top ten retailers–for customer service–were Nordstrom, L.L.Bean, Overstock.com, Lane Bryant, Boscov’s, Kohl’s, REI, Lands’ End and Macy’s.…
Cards issued by European banks when used online cross border don't usually support AVS checks. So, when a European card is used with a billing address that's in the US, an ecom merchant wouldn't necessarily know that the shipping zip code doesn't match the billing code.
